Learn to sail with the Funside Balaton windsurfing team. During the week we will teach you the basics and after a short theoretical training, you can start learning the ins and outs of sailing with our instructors. You are guaranteed to have an unforgettable experience in the waves, while trying a truly unique sport from the beach of the camp.

Program your own virtual reality: in our revolutionary computer science class, we develop 3D games and worlds that you can try out yourself with a smartphone and a VR box. You'll also have the opportunity to program AR, or augmented reality objects, where images from the real world are mixed with elements you program to create truly creative projects. Our VR programming class will debut in our Budapest and Balaton camps in 2025: more details coming soon.

Other new features

In addition to our successful AI Skills in English and English Drama classes, 2 other classes will also be available fully in English in 2025.

Our "AI Skills in English" class, launched in 2024, received the highest scores of all our classes in the hundreds of end-of-summer questionnaires completed by our campers, making it the Class of the Year. In 2025, we'll be offering this innovative blend of English and AI in every session, but that's not all: we believe that learning a language is most motivating when it happens trough an activity you enjoy, which is why we'll be offering an increasing number of classes fully in English in the future.

In addition to AI Skills in English and English Drama, 2 new classes will be added next year: our Mindfulness class, popular among our older campers, will be available in English in some sessions next summer, and our Music Production class will return in English in 2025. So not only you will learn new skills and techniques, but you will also improve your English in an international environment!

Linocut printmaking, as well as jewellery and bag making will be added to our Art and Fashion Upcycling classes.

An exciting new addition to our Art and Fashion Upcycling classes is linocut printmaking: watch a short video demonstration of this technique. Based on your feedback, we are expanding our toolkit and curriculum in our Fashion class: you can choose from several projects next summer, such as jewellery and bag making, sewing phone cases or making a simple top. In addition, our highly successful Design & Drawing class, which debuted in 2024, will be available in all sessions next summer.
