About the education
Do you love Roblox games? Now it’s time not just to play, but to create your very own next favorite mini-game! At the Funside Roblox camp, we use Roblox Studio to design and program our own 3D mini-game maps – from the first idea all the way to a fully working game. The camp focuses on fast-paced, exciting games that we invent and code ourselves.
What do we do during the classes?
Designing Minigames:
Obby (obstacle course), racing challenges, survival mode, item hunt games, or skill challenges – each day we work with a different type of game mechanic. We learn what makes a game fun, engaging, and well-balanced.
3D Map Building:
We build our own worlds and maps using the tools in Roblox Studio. We learn the basics of level design, obstacle placement, and visual design.
Programming in Roblox Studio:
We control how our games work using scripts: character movement, scoring systems, timers, special effects, traps, and interactive elements. Tasks are built up step by step in a beginner-friendly way, so no prior programming experience is required.
Testing and Polishing:
We playtest our own games together, fix bugs, and keep improving them. We learn how a real game developer thinks: not just building a game, but making it truly fun and engaging. Throughout the camp, participants develop logical thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and design abilities. Both beginners and experienced Roblox players will find challenges suited to their level. If you’re ready to go from player to developer – this is the place for you!

You can choose 2 different classes from the list below for each week of camp (e.g. Roblox Programming + English Language class).

PlayVR Amusement Park
At the 800 m² PlayVR experience center, kids are welcomed by exciting VR team games and themed escape rooms, offering unforgettable virtual adventures.
Pinball Museum
We’ll visit the Pinball Museum, where lots of arcade machines and plenty of fun activities await us!
MOM Sport Uszoda
Csobbanás a MOM Sport Uszoda szabadtéri medencéiben! (mélyvíz-biztos úszástudás hiányában karúszóval).
Laser Tag Arena
Laser tag on 500 square metres with unique UV visuals, that bring us to the world of sci-fis!
Superfly Budapest
Superfly Budapest is an indoor trampoline and entertainment park covering over 2,200 m², featuring a ninja course, swinging trapeze, giant slide, parkour and balance elements, and various trampoline games in a fun, air-conditioned environment.
Rainy day option: Kockaland
In case one of our main afternoon activities cannot take place due to bad weather, we will visit the new downtown location of the Kockaland LEGO Playhouse & Exhibition, where new challenges, exciting builds, and discoveries await!
Gellért-hegyi csúszdapark
A közeli, 2017-ben teljesen megújult Gellért-hegyi csúszdaparkba minden turnus során ellátogatunk.
