Pop Rock Music Camp

Playing musical instruments is popular among kids, however, most children and teens study instruments in individual classes, missing the opportunity to play music together with other students. At the Funside Balaton Pop Rock Music Camp, we have a different approach: our aim is to bring together kids with different instruments and musical backgrounds, and attempt to form a band for a week for the joy of playing music together. Our classes are in groups of 5 to 10 kids, with rhythm exercises, practicing melodies and functioning as a band. At the end of each week, our campers will have to option to perform a song on stage in front of other Funside Balaton campers.Our head teacher is a multi-instrumentalist coach from one of Budapest’s well-known recording studios. Music campers are also welcome to attend all of our exciting non-curricular activities with other campers. You can choose the Music Camp for 2 hours a day (Monday to Friday) and choose another subject for the second 2-hour time period, or you can play even more music and choose this class for both time periods (that is 4 hours of classes a day). Please note: to attend this class, you need at least two years of experience with a musical instrument and should be able to read sheet music.
