About the education
Join us on a creative journey with our Design and Drawing class, using the ever-popular Procreate graphics app.
During the week, we’ll learn the basics of Procreate and explore the app’s features, including different drawing techniques and advanced features. We’ll learn about techniques such as shading, color management and color theory, complementary color use and contrasts. During the classes, participants will have the opportunity to choose and work on their own topics, while receiving individual help and continuous feedback from our teacher.
At the end of the week, our campers will have the opportunity to present their work to the whole camp. No prior training is required for this class, we will guide you through the process step-by-step and help you to create a digital artwork that reflects your creativity.
Equipment needed
This class is included with the standard camp fee, but you will need these devices to participate:
- Your own iPad and a compatible Apple Pencil (see here for a list of compatible iPads)
- Your own Procreate account, downloadable from the Apple App Store (one-time purchase, no subscription)
If you don’t have your own device, you can rent one at the camp. Rental needs must be indicated on the sign-up form. Rental costs:
- iPad rental with Procreate app: EUR 31 (or HUF 12 000) / week
- Apple Pencil rental fee: EUR 19 (or HUF 8 000) / week
In this case, we provide the necessary equipment for the class (iPad and Apple Pencil) and access to the Procreate app used during the class.
