Position: Native English as a Second Language Teacher at Funside Day Camps, Budapest, morning shifts

Requirements:
- English must be your mother tongue and you must have experience in English as a second language (ESL) teaching, preferably teaching groups of children, and you must be able to prepare for your own classes, based on a curriculum and guidance provided by us
- You must have experience in working with children or working in a camp-like environment
- You must be a highly responsible person with high moral integrity
- You must be at least 20 years of age
- You must be ready to work long hours and must be physically able to meet the challenges of a summer camp environment
- You want to be involved in running the largest international children’s camp in Hungary
- You are familiar with our application process and are available on the dates; if you apply, you will be subject to a multi-stage selection process, but if we see the potential in you, we will help you in every way possible to be ready for the adventure!

Tasks of ESL Teachers / Camp Counselors:
- Teaching language classes in the mornings, as part of the Funside Day Camps Gellért tér/BudaPart
- 2 English lessons per day (1.5 hrs each) for children aged 8-15 years, based on a given framework and curriculum, for which we provide the mentoring
- Taking active participation in the running of the camp (unloading and loading, meals, games, etc.)
Details of work:
- Dates: from 23 June to 29 August, in weekly sessions (Monday to Friday, click here for dates); you can tick the weeks that suit you on the application form
- Benefits for morning shifts: day camp salary in 2025 for Native English teachers is net (after tax) HUF 71 500 / weekly session, hours: 7.30 to 12.00 Monday to Friday (4.5 hours / day, of which 3 hrs is teaching, the rest is regular camp activities)
- Location: Funside Day Camps Gellért tér / BudaPart venue
- Successful candidates will take part in a one-day orientation session in Budapest
