About the education
In Funside’s playful programming camp, children build their own digital wands to use for programming, and then use them to fly feathers, duplicate goblets, conjure magic brooms or even defeat the mountain troll. The Official Harry Potter Kano Programming Kit contains over 70 challenges, complete with tasks we’ve created to help our campers learn the basics of block-based programming. Not only will they improve their skills, but their creativity will help them experience what it’s like to be a wizard in the world of Harry Potter! We’ll also include surprises and costumes during the sessions to make sure everyone feels like they’re in the Wizarding World. The classes will use official Harry Potter programmable tools from British edtech start-up, named KANO.
Level: no previous qualifications are required, but confident literacy skills are essential. The programming language used in the classes is based on English, so minimum English knowledge is recommended to participate.
