Starting in 2013, Funside Balaton international summer camps will be held at Hungary’s Új Nemzedék Központ Youth Center in Zanka.
At Zanka, our campers will stay in comfortable rooms, recently renovated and refurbished to a high international standard. This beautiful location, right by Central Europe’s largest lake, Lake Balaton, has its own secure coastline, excellent sports facilities, as well as a brand new main building which opened in 2012.
The ‘Winter buildings’, used by Funside, are the highest quality camp rooms offered by the Zanka venue. All of our campers will stay in recently renovated and refurbished 6 and 8 bed bedrooms. All rooms have their own bathroom and each room has a camp counsellor responsible for it. Our buildings have great facilities, including comfortable classrooms and air-conditioned halls.
This year Funside Balaton offers 15 different types of camp, including 6 brand new ones, which will be revealed one by one between 4 and 18 February on the Funside website. Booking opens on Monday, 18 February.
