About the education
Our Robotics Camp for our younger students (8-12 years) is based entirely on the LEGO Boost platform, but featuring brand new projects for 2022, so that our returning students will get to build and code all new challenges this summer. During our 2-hour classes, participants will build and code a different LEGO robot from the Boost set each day, completing a total of 5 different projects throughout the week. Kids work in teams of 2 to 3 students, enhancing cooperation and team working skills, as they work together to solve problems and divide sub-tasks among each other with guidance from our teachers. The teams use tablets to program the robots through LEGO’s own visual coding application. The Boost platform is all about learning in a playful way, which is the cornerstone of our education philosophy at Funside. Our Robotics Camp is especially recommended to students interested in the world of technology but have never learned how to code before.
