Three camp venues, close to 70 camp sessions, over 10 thousand campers and countless unforgettable moments: this is the tally of the first 15 years of Funside Balaton! We’re celebrating this special anniversary by bringing back the most memorable activities and your favorite games from past years, completed with some new additions and surprises!
After a truly jubilant Camp Opening on Sunday, we are kicking off Monday afternoon activities with the anniversary edition of the Wall Street Trade-Off game, where you’ll need strategic thinking, teamwork, and a pinch of luck for successful trading. Which team will collect the most tokens during the event? The evening continues with a brand new program: Party Games & Neon Night, featuring TikTok challenges and glow-in-the-dark games – promising endless fun!
On Tuesday, after the water polo qualifiers, we can’t wait to color the camp again. Enjoy the adrenaline and joy of running through colorful powder clouds during Color Run, which continues to be one of our campers’ favorite activities, according to our yearly surveys. Finally, we’ll top off the event with a huge color party. In the evening, an old favorite returns: the Emoji Game, where you can test your creativity in the world of emojis.
Following a long break, we’re excited to return to an iconic camp location of previous years, the Sárvár Aqua Park. As a special surprise for the anniversary week, you can experience this popular program again on Wednesday, featuring giant water slides, pools and carefree water adventures all afternoon.
On Thursday, we invite you on a time travel journey with us. At the Time Machine: Best of Funside activity stations, you’ll discover the most memorable moments from the past 15 years. Test yourself in the most popular games and maybe even break some records! As night falls, a special program awaits on the shores of Lake Balaton: at the Lantern Festival, your team’s wishes will set sail with floating lanterns, creating magical moments under the starry sky.
We’re closing the ‘15 years of Funside Balaton’ week with an amazing Beach Party afternoon and water polo finals. We’ll crown the evening, as well as the 2025 summer season, with an unforgettable Anniversary Closing Party, featuring the greatest camp hits.
