Online English courses Grades 3 to 10

In case of our English courses, our small groups (4-8 students) meet once a week, after school (weekday afternoons or Saturday mornings), for 90-minute gamified and speaking focused sessions, divided by age and level. Following the school year, there are 16 sessions per term, during which our students work on 4 major themes and 4 short project presentations. In our semester modules, which are built on each other, students work through the 16 main topics required for the main language exams in a total of 4 semesters per level before moving on to the next level.

In our online native English classes, Funside’s teaching philosophy meets the teaching style of our native English teachers. Our lessons are based on self-developed teaching materials and speaking is always in focus. Our aim is to break down the hurdles that hold children and young people back from speaking English with confidence, so that they can develop their oral skills as much as possible throughout the course. This is enabled by our small group sizes (3-6 students) and teachers from English-speaking countries, for whom a communicative style of teaching is an integral part of language learning and thus an excellent fit with Funside School’s values.

Once you have the language exam in sight, you should opt for our more intensive 2 x 90-minute classes per week, where progress is double that of normal courses. Available from level B1.

Compared to the basic courses, the intensive course progresses twice as fast, so we meet 2 days a week for 90 minutes at a time. For the intensive course, there are 32 sessions per semester, i.e. 64 sessions of one and a half hours each, covering all the oral topics for the corresponding level.
