About the education
If you want to see how the world of fashion meets sustainability, try our Fashion Upcycling class! If you have an outfit you’re having trouble letting go of, bring it with you and transform it!
We believe that an eco-friendly approach and a positive mindset are key to a sustainable future. For us, it is important that you gain a new perspective on the experience of creating and that you can apply what you learn in the class to your everyday life. No prior training is necessary to participate, we will guide you step by step through the process, giving you individual help and continuous feedback.
In this class you can also try interesting new techniques such as lino-cutting (click here to watch a short video demonstration of this method). You can also choose from a variety of projects throughout the summer, such as jewellery and bag making, sewing phone cases or making a simple top.
During the week, we will learn the basics of sewing and sewing techniques, and the characteristics of different fabrics. At the end of the week, you will have the opportunity to showcase your work to the whole camp. The classes take place in blocks of approximately 2 hours per day, and you can also choose an additional class for the second time period (see below).
