BAL

Arduino Engineer Camp

Design, build and program!

Funside Balaton is a unique, bilingual summer camp offering nearly 30 different activities at a magical lakeside location on Lake Balaton, attracting over 1000 young people from nearly 30 countries each year. Find out more about the classes available - you can try two each week - and choose the ones that suit you best below!

About the education

Have you ever made a piano from a water glass, a mouse from a banana, a controller from clay? Have you ever coded a joystick you assembled, a LED display, or a working digital clock? In this class you can try them, as well as learning how to assemble a variety of useful tools from tiny parts. If you like to look behind the scenes, if you are interested in circuits, if you want to assemble a controller for your own coded game, we welcome you to Funside’s Arduino Engineer Camp – now with exciting new projects!

What you can learn at the camp:

  • basic electrical engineering with a safe Arduino microcontroller
  • engineering design process
  • building circuits
  • LEDs; buttons; display; led matrix; joystick arm; RFID opener chip wiring and programming
  • making games in a block-based programming environment, connected to a controller you build
  • basic STEM knowledge
