Includes two standard classes of your choice, from the following (21 options):
English, English Drama, AI Skills in English, Mindfulness in English (new), Music Production in English, Hungarian as a Foreign Language, Sports, American Sports, Water Sports, Outdoor Workout, Tennis, Yoga, Arts & Crafts, Design & Drawing, Fashion Upcycling, Art, Dance, VR Programming (new), Arduino Engineer, as well as Mindfulness in Hungarian and Photography in Hungarian classes. Discounts
Early bird loyalty discount for returning campers

The discount is only available for registrations submitted between 26 February and 4 March 2025 by returning Funside Balaton campers. The discount is also valid for siblings of the above mentioned children (with the same address and same person paying), even if they have not been to Funside Balaton before. This discount cannot be combined with any other discount.
In addition to the discounted camp fee, you can also choose a premium class (but the premium class fee will still be charged in the usual way, on top of the discounted camp fee).
Discovery discount for previous Funside day camp participants

The discount is only available for applications submitted between 26 February and 11 March 2025 by campers who have not yet attended a Funside Balaton sleepover camp but have attended any Funside day camp in Budapest, including the Funside Lupa Beach camp, in 2024 or earlier. The discount is also valid for siblings of the above mentioned children (same address and same person paying), if they have not attended a Funside Balaton camp. This discount cannot be combined with any other discount.
In addition to the discounted camp fee, you can also choose a premium class (but the premium class fee will still be charged in the usual way, on top of the discounted camp fee).
Additional week discount
Starting in 2025, you can choose a second and all additional weeks at a reduced price. The discounted price includes all costs for the Saturday in between the weekly sessions as well.
*Terms and conditions: the price for “each additional week” is for the same camper (i.e. the same person: one arrival and one administration) and the same person paying. This discount cannot be combined with any other discount, unless otherwise indicated.
Payment by instalments
You can choose to pay in instalments in the Payment section of the sign-up form. We will send you a separate monthly pro forma invoice for the chosen instalments (2 or 3 pcs).
- You can choose 3 monthly instalments for registrations submitted by April 1, 2025 on the sign-up form.
- You can choose 2 monthly instalments for registrations submitted by May 1, 2025 on the sign-up form.
After May 1, 2025, only single amount payment can be chosen for the 2025 summer season.
SZÉP card acceptance
The camp fee can be paid in part or in full by SZÉP card.

Native English Camp

Equipment rental for Design & Drawing
Equipment for Design & Drawing classes
This class is included with the standard camp fee, but you will need these devices to participate:
- Your own iPad and a compatible Apple Pencil (see here for a list of compatible iPads)
- Your own Procreate account, downloadable from the Apple App Store (one-time purchase, no subscription)
If you don’t have your own device, you can rent one at the camp. Rental needs must be indicated on the sign-up form. Rental costs:
- iPad rental with Procreate app: EUR 29 (or HUF 12 000) / week
- Apple Pencil rental fee: EUR 19 (or HUF 8 000) / week
In this case, we provide the necessary equipment for the class (iPad and Apple Pencil) and access to the Procreate app used during the class.
You may choose up to two premium classes each week. The price then is added up as follows:
standard fee + extra fee of 1st premium class + extra fee of 2nd premium class.
What is included in camp fees?
- Accommodation: 7 days, 6 nights accommodation per session, and in case of multiple consecutive weeks, the Saturdays in between
- Meals: three main meals a day (including hot lunch and dinner prepared on-site or, upon request, special allergen-free menu from an external supplier), additional snacks (“snack point”) and fruits during the morning activity breaks, as well as continuously available Garai Pi-water
- Classes: the camp fee includes 2 standard fee classes (one or both of which can be exchanged for a premium class)
- Programs: the camp fee includes the cost of all afternoon and evening programs for the given week, including tickets and travel to the external programs
- Camp t-shirt: a Funside Balaton T-shirt for each camper per session
- Camp photos: we have two professional photographers on site at all times, taking pictures of all activities -at the end of each week, we assemble 1000 to 1500 of the best photos, which are available as a free digital download to all our campers.
- International environment, professional organization, and lots of experiences!
The camp fee does not include the following:
- Travel: the camp fee does not include the travel costs to and from the camp. Learn more about travelling to and from the camp…
- Travel and accident insurance: it is essential for foreign citizens to have valid health insurance
- Spending money: for use at the additional snack bar or at the beach
Payment deadlines
- If you choose to pay in one amount (bank transfer or card payment via Barion): within 21 days of the confirmation of your registration. For any new registration received after June 10, the payment deadline is 14 days of the confirmation of your registration or 3 days when your chosen camp starts in less than 2 weeks after the date of registration.
- If you choose to pay in 2 or 3 equal monthly installments (only for bank transfers): within 8 days of the date on each pro forma invoice (2 or 3 pcs).
Means of payment
- By bank transfer in HUF or EUR via your own bank (national and international bank details are sent via email to the email address provided in the online sign-up form)
- By debit or credit card, provided by Barion (more information)
- By SZÉP Card (cafeteria) only in HUF via the online interface of the bank issuing of the SZÉP Card. More about paying with SZÉP Card…
Cancellation policy
95% of the camp fee is refunded if the cancellation happens up to the Monday two weeks before the given camp week (only a 5% service fee is charged from the full camp fee). If the cancellation happens following this date but up to the Wednesday before the given camp week, then 80% of the full camp fee is refunded. Any cancellation that happens from Thursday to Saturday before the given week permits a 50% refund of the camp fees. In case of no show or a withdrawal from the camp after the camp week has begun, no refund is issued. For our detailed policy, please check Section 4 of our Terms and Conditions.
Deadlines for signing up
Availability for our camps is limited and places are filled up on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up early to ensure your place for the desired camp.
