The camp is organized by Funside Association <\/strong>(Funside Egyes\u00fclet, based at: 1121 Budapest, T\u00fcnd\u00e9r l\u00e9pcs\u0151 2\/a., tax number:18292129-1-43, registration number: 01-02-0014832, email: budapest@funside.hu<\/a>, tel: +36 70 512 12 04)<\/p>\n <\/b>1.<\/strong> As the parent or legal guardian of the child\/children attending the camp and named at the end of this form (hereinafter referred to as: Parent), I hereby declare that my Child (hereinafter referred to as: Child or Camper) can attend<\/span>, at the time specified on the application form (during the indicated session(s)), in the Funside Day Camps summer camp (hereinafter: Camp) organized by Funside Association,<\/strong> held in cooperation with Budapest School, at the Budapest School P10 venue located at 10 Pozsonyi Street, Budapest 1137, as well as at external locations (such as sports fields, program venues, public transportation, etc.), under the following terms and conditions. I acknowledge that my child may participate in the Camp only with my consent and exclusively under the conditions set forth herein. The Parent further declares that \u2013 if parental responsibility is exercised jointly \u2013 they have obtained the consent of the Child\u2019s other legal representative (parent).<\/p>\n 2.<\/strong> The Organizers of the Camp declare that they will act to the best of their knowledge to ensure the quality of the education and activities provided to the Child. By signing this Disclaimer, the Organizers of the Camp also declare that in the given period they will provide the participants of the Camp three meals a day, as well as beverages. The Organizers of the Camp declare that the Child may not leave the Camp in the absence of the Parents or without the explicit request or permission of the Parent. The Child may only be picked up from the Camp by the Parent or legal guardian, or any third person authorized by them. The Organizers of the Camp are only responsible as far as the obligations stated in the Camp Policy are concerned; in any other cases the responsibility relies solely on the Parent. Under the Civil Code of the Hungarian State, the Parent is liable for any possible damages to the Camp\u2019s equipment or premises caused by the Child.<\/p>\n The Parent acknowledges and accepts that certain classes or activities may take place outside the premises of Budapest School P10, in accordance with the program announced for the given session. The Parent further acknowledges and accepts that the Camp may engage external partners to conduct certain activities, who bear full responsibility for the classes organized and delivered by them. These include the following: the \u201cFantastic Science Collab\u201d activity is organized by FUNtasztikus Tudom\u00e1ny Ltd., which bears full responsibility for the organization and delivery of the activity.<\/p>\n 3. Health conditions: <\/b>Parents agree that in accordance with the Ministry of Interior Decree 6\/2025 (II. 25.), the Camp Organizers require that parents of participating children must provide the necessary medical information proving that the child or children are medically fit for the camp activities at the start of the camp and does not suffer from a communicable disease at the start of the camp. The Camp Organizers will provide the Parent with the above declaration form, which the Parent must fill in and sign, and give to the Organizers before the start of the camp. Failure to provide a medical consent form or a false statement on the completed form may result in exclusion from the camp, in which case no refund will be given. The Camp Organizers reserve the right, regardless of the information on the declaration, if at any time at the beginning of the session or during the session, symptoms of communicable diseases are detected in the Child, including but not limited to those on the declaration, the Child will be excluded from the camp in accordance with the National Center for Public Health\u2019s guidelines for camping, in order to protect the community and the individual, and will be turned over to the Parent. In such cases, the Camp Director on site may act on behalf of the Camp Organizers. The same applies in cases where there is an injury or other medical condition which makes the continuation of the camping activity dangerous to the Child\u2019s health or physical wellbeing. If a Child interrupts the camp for medical reasons, but his\/her condition improves during the session, the Child may resume the camp if the Parent provides a valid doctor\u2019s note certifying to the Camp Director that the Child is no longer suffering from a communicable or other disease and is medically fit to attend the camp. If the Child permanently ends the camping period prematurely for medical reasons, the current refund rules apply.<\/p>\n The Parent declares that, to the best of their knowledge, the Child does not have any other illness, allergy, food intolerance, or special educational needs that were not indicated on the Sign-up Form or in the Health Declaration. Responsibility for any illnesses not listed therein and for any potential consequences arising from incomplete or inaccurate information shall rest with the Parent, and the Camp Organizers shall bear no liability in this regard. By allowing your child into the Community, you accept the possibility that, even with the greatest care, the possibility of infection or injury cannot be excluded with absolute certainty; if a camper becomes ill during the Camp and is required to leave the Camp or spend part of the day isolated on the Camp site, the Camp Organizers shall not be liable and the illness shall not be grounds for an extraordinary refund of the Camp fee. By signing these General Terms and Conditions, the Parent acknowledges and declares that the Child participates in sports activities and other programs at their own responsibility, while following the instructions of the Camp Organizers and complying with the Camp Policy; the Camp Organizers shall not be held liable for any injuries resulting from a failure to do so. The Child is obliged to comply with the Camp Policy and to follow the instructions given to them during the camp; the Funside Association shall not be held liable for any injuries or other damages resulting from the failure to comply with the House Rules or the instructions given to the Child.<\/span><\/p>\n By signing these General Terms and Conditions, the Parent declares to the Camp Organizers that the child has valid Hungarian TAJ social insurance coverage or a valid European Health Insurance Card. If neither is true, then the Child must have valid private health insurance for the duration of the camp, which also covers the sports classes chosen during the camp. Failing this, the Child may be excluded from the camp. If any payment is due to a health care provider or other facility as a result of or in connection with any health care services that may be incurred during the camp, the Parent shall be responsible for such payment. If the Camp pays the payment on behalf of the Parent during the administration of the Camp, the Parent shall settle the payment with the Camp by the end of the given session. The Camp cannot be held responsible and cannot be forced to cover the costs if the insurer refuses to cover medical expenses for any reason.<\/span><\/p>\n Special meals:<\/b> Parents accept that campers eat in the same areas as their peers, so even in the case of cross-contamination-free meals prepared in a separate kitchen, it is not 100% certain that gluten or other allergens are not in the air.<\/span><\/p>\n Other information:<\/b> in compliance with the information obligation stipulated in the Ministry of Interior Decree 6\/2025 (II. 25.), the Camp Organizers inform the Parents about the following facts: tick-borne encephalitis can be prevented by vaccination; vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis does not provide protection against Lyme disease; therefore, during the camp period\u2014since the tick-borne encephalitis vaccine does not protect against Lyme disease\u2014the use of tick repellents, daily tick checks, and the immediate removal of any detected ticks are necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n 4A. Cancellation policy: <\/b><\/p>\n Cancellations:<\/strong> in case of cancellation due to illness or any other reason prior to the camp, there is a full refund (with only a 5% service fee deducted) if the cancellation happens up to 2 weeks before the given camp week. Parents may choose to exchange their camp week for another week, subject to availability, at no extra cost up to 2 weeks before the original camp week. <\/span>Late cancellations:<\/b> If the cancellation happens later than the 2-week deadline, but before 5 pm on the last Wednesday before the camp week, then a 50% refund of the camp fees is issued. If the cancellation happens later than this deadline, no refund is issued. Cancellation must be confirmed in writing (via email, at <\/span>budapest@funside.hu<\/span><\/a>). Refunds are then issued within 30 days of the cancellation to the person who made the original payment. If the child cannot attend the camp due to illness and can verify this with a doctor\u2019s note, than the original camp week may be exchanged, at no extra cost, if the camp is notified (via email, at <\/span>budapest@funside.hu<\/span><\/a>, with the doctor\u2019s note attached to the email) by no later than midday on the last Friday before the camp week (doctor\u2019s notes issues later will not be accepted). If a camper becomes ill during their stay and must leave or isolate at camp due to illness, no extraordinary refund will be provided. If authorities impose quarantine measures preventing continued participation after starting camp, this does not entitle participants to extraordinary refunds. <\/span>For changes or cancellations involving premium classes<\/b> (in case the session is kept, but a premium class is canceled by the camper): a full refund for premium class fees is available if canceled by 5:00 PM on the Monday two weeks prior to the session start. If the cancellation happens later than the 2-week deadline, but before 5 pm on the last Wednesday before the camp week, then a 50% refund of the premium class fees is issued; no refunds are available after this time. Premium activities are defined as those with fees differing from standard rates.<\/span><\/p>\n 4B. Leaving camp due to being expelled for Camp Policy violations:<\/b> In the event of repeated or even a single severe violation of the Camp Rules, the organizers reserve the right to exclude the camper from the camp and send them home at their own discretion. In such cases, it is the parents\u2019 responsibility to arrange the camper\u2019s transportation home, and no refund of the session fee, even partial, will be provided. The Parent is obliged to take the Child home without delay upon receiving notification. The organizers also reserve the right to deny future participation to the camper due to misconduct or violations of the Camp Policy. It is the responsibility of both the Parent and the Camper to familiarize themselves with and adhere to the Camp, which can be accessed on the camp\u2019s website (<\/span>https:\/\/funside.hu\/en\/camp-policy-budapest\/<\/span><\/a>) or in printed form at the camp location.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/b>5.<\/strong> If the Camp Organizers are unable to hold a session for reasons within their control (excluding force majeure events), the full session fee will be refunded. Alternatively, upon request, the fee can be credited toward another session.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/b>6.<\/strong> Any photos or videos taken at the Camp are the property of the Camp. The Camp maintains all the rights. The parents accept that photos may be taken at programs or activities where the child participates. In relation to any image or video depicting the camper, the Parent may exercise the data subject rights set out in the GDPR, including, for example, requesting that images or videos of the Child not be used or be deleted. The Funside Association\u2019s data protection notice (Privacy Policy) is available on the camp\u2019s website (<\/span>www.funside.hu\/en\/funside-privacy-statement-applications-newsletters\/<\/span><\/a>) or in printed form at the camp location, at the reception desk.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/b>7.<\/strong> Bringing valuable items, equipment, or cash to the camp is at the camper\u2019s own risk. The Camp Organizers do not assume responsibility for these valuables, even if the camper hands them over to a third party and damage or loss occurs as a result.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n 8. <\/strong>The Funside camp is organized by the Funside Association for the members of its camping community. By attending camps organized by Funside Association, the Child receives a supporting membership, or in case of a previous membership an extension of such membership, of the association, valid until the end of the given calendar year. <\/p>\n <\/b>9.<\/strong> The Camp Sign-up (Registration) Form, as filled out by a parent or other legal representative of the Child electronically, is part of the General Terms and Conditions. Parents are responsible of the validity of the information provided about the Child on the Form. In the event of any change to any data or information provided on the registration form, in the time between the time of filling out the Sign-up Form and arriving at camp, the Parent is obliged to notify the Funside Association thereof in writing without delay<\/span>.<\/b><\/p>\n <\/b>10.<\/strong> The Camp Policy is part of the General Terms and Conditions. The Parent verifies with his or her signature that he or she and the Child have read and understood the Camp Policy. The Camp Policy can be found on webpage of the Camp and is directly available to any parent on request.<\/span><\/p>\n 11.<\/b>Online credit card payments are processed via the Teya payment system operated by Teya Hungary Zrt., and used through Nevogate Payment Services Kft. systems. Personal data related to credit card information or other online payment information are not received by the Camp Organizers.<\/span><\/p>\n 12.<\/strong> By signing these General Terms and Conditions, the Parent declares that they became familiar with the present General Terms and Conditions and their contents prior to signing and accept them by their signature. The Parent again declares and confirms that \u2014 if parental responsibility is exercised jointly \u2014 they have the consent of the Child\u2019s other legal representative (parent). The Parent further declares that the Funside Association informed them, prior to signing these Terms and Conditions, about the external service providers used by the Funside Association during the Camp, as well as about the refund rules applicable in case of camp cancellation. By signing these Terms and Conditions, the Parent expressly accepts these conditions.<\/p>\n The present General Terms and Conditions is the official translation of the original document, written in the Hungarian language.
