A picturesque setting by Lake Balaton<\/h3>\n

The Balatongy\u00f6r\u00f6k Youth Camp, the sleepover camp venue hosting Funside Balaton, is located on the western shore of Lake Balaton.<\/strong> This lovely venue, with its large green areas, lies directly next to the lakeshore, in the immediate vicinity of the Balatongy\u00f6r\u00f6k Lookout which offers one of the most beautiful panoramas of the lake. The foundation-maintained campsite is nostalgic and evolving at the same time:<\/strong> camping children and youth can experience the classic camp atmosphere while the location serves Funside Balaton camp's unique program and wide range of activities with modern facilities.<\/p>\n

A bit of nostalgia: the history of the camp venue <\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

The “Ifit\u00e1bor” (Youth Camp) has been functioning as a children’s camp since the 1970s and took its current form in the 1990s. During this time, the two-story main building was constructed, offering campers 4-6 bed rooms with private bathrooms. In 2013, another development brought the completion of the Sunshine Hostel, designed with an apartment-style layout and separate wings for boys and girls, providing comfortable accommodation for the oldest campers. Over the decades, the camp has continuously evolved to create unforgettable experiences for every generation. After running at multiple other locations, the Funside Balaton camp community moved here in 2014, and since then, it has been an essential part of our summers.<\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n\n \n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Our accommodation is exclusively in buildings, in simple but comfortable 3 to 6-bed bedrooms. The camp has its own kitchen where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared (more about meals<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\t\t
